Get a lawyer AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.If your friend was not at fault, your lawyer will be going after the person who's fault it is (their insurance company). If it was your friends fault, your lawyer will be going after their insurance company. If your friend did not have auto insurance then your lawyer will be going after them personally.
